FNH USA Drops the Price of its FNS pistols!

IMG_2288Hey remember that review I did of an FNS-9 earlier this month? If you were interested in that gun, now’s a good time to start looking because the price has dropped by about $100! Keep in mind, this is for the MSRP and the prices of guns that your local store already purchased before the drop will still be the same but new ones coming out will more than likely be a bit more affordable! In my book, this makes a great gun even better! Take a look at their press release below:

“We are pleased that the FNS™ line has been so popular,” said Mark Cherpes, President and CEO of FNH USA.  “Because our sales volume was so high in 2013, we were able to reduce our production costs enough to realize a savings we are now passing down to our customers.  We hope consumers will take advantage of this new, lower price and choose an FNS™ when they are shopping for a new pistol.”

“Since launching the FNS™ line of striker-fired pistols in 2012, it has been exciting to see how well-received they have been by all firearms enthusiasts no matter if they are looking for a competition pistol or a reliable handgun for home defense,” said Ken Pfau, FNH USA Senior Vice President of Commercial and Law Enforcement Sales.  “We believe their popularity is due in large part to the fact that it is one of the only fully-ambidextrous striker-fired pistols on the market today and its low bore axis significantly reduces recoil so it’s a much more enjoyable and controlled shooting experience.”

The FNS™ series of striker-fired pistols includes the FNS™-9, FNS™-9 Longslide, the FNS™-40 and the FNS™-40 Longslide.  Each features a highly-ergonomic frame design and comes with two interchangeable backstraps to personalize the grip fit to the user. A MIL-STD 1913 underframe rail is standard for light attachment and an aggressive checkering grip pattern improves control under the harshest shooting conditions.

Made at FN Manufacturing in Columbia, SC, standard features on the FNS™ include a hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, a forged stainless steel slide with front and rear cocking serrations, a full-length stainless steel recoil spring guide rod and FN’s exclusive low-profile Deep-V™ three-dot night sights. All come standard with three magazines and a locking hard case.
