Bring them some cookies!
Think about it for a moment: where would we be without our local firearm dealer? Sure we might be able to get a cheap rifle from Wal-Mart or pay the full MSRP at some big box sporting goods store, but what if we want quality selection and to purchase a gun from someone who actually cares if we get a good weapon?
Face it, our local dealers are the backbone, brain and blood that keep our hobby alive. They remember our faces when we walk into our store. They actually care if we come back so they work harder to make us happy. They are usually willing to tweak the prices to make sure they get a sale. Other than forking over a few hundred bucks every now and then, have we really done anything to thank our favorite local store for being our favorite local store?
So I’m proposing this: bring some cookies to your favorite store. Tell them “thank you for being my favorite store”.
Oh…and buy something from them while you’re there.
